IPOH: The Neighbourhood Watch Association (KRT) of Taman Buntong Jaya has found its own meaningful way to express patriotism during National Month 2025.
KRT Taman Buntong Jaya presented the Jalur Gemilang (Malaysian national flag) to the Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD), reflecting the strong collaboration between the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the local community.
The flag presentation ceremony was organized by KRT Taman Buntong Jaya and held at the foyer of the IPD Ipoh building.

It served as a symbol of appreciation and support for the personnel of IPD Ipoh in enlivening this year’s National Day celebrations.
The symbolic event was officiated by Deputy District Police Chief of Ipoh (General Policing), Supt. Mohd Akmal Hizam Abd Khupur, who represented the Ipoh District Police Chief.
Also present were Chairman of the Kinta Social Welfare, Sports, and Cultural Association, P Uvarajan; Chairman of KRT Taman Buntong Jaya, P Palani; Principal of SMK Sungai Pari, Ahmad Rezaudin Hussein and Operations Director of Wau Wau Restaurant, Ipoh, Wai Nun Rong.
Heads of departments, police station chiefs under IPD Ipoh, and committee members of KRT Taman Buntong Jaya were also in attendance.

The event is seen as an initiative that not only appreciates the community’s role in adorning the IPD Ipoh premises with the national flag but also strengthens the bonds and close cooperation between PDRM and the local community.
The spirit of patriotism must be instilled across all layers of society, and events like this serve as effective platforms to foster unity and remember the sacrifices of national heroes.
