PPD Kinta Utara and Police Strengthen Cooperation to Tackle Student Discipline Issues

IPOH: The Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD Ipoh) held a meeting with officers from the Kinta Utara District Education Office (PPD Kinta Utara) to discuss efforts in preventing and improving responses to student discipline issues, particularly in boarding schools.

The discussion focused on critical issues such as bullying, sexual misconduct, and drug abuse among students.

Proactive measures were explored to address these problems in a holistic and effective manner.

One of the main agenda items was to strengthen the role of School Liaison Officers (PPS) in assisting schools to manage disciplinary cases in accordance with existing guidelines and legal provisions.

The strategic partnership between the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and PPD Kinta Utara will continue to be enhanced to ensure schools remain safe, conducive environments, free from any form of crime.

This meeting reflects the ongoing commitment of both parties to safeguard student well-being and build stronger communication networks between schools and authorities.
