IPOH: The Perak Bison team dominated on home ground by clinching the championship title at the CelcomDigi Sepaktakraw League (STL) 2025 GP Perak, held recently at Stadium Indera Mulia here.
According to a statement from the Ipoh City Council (MBI), Perak Bison players also swept up the individual awards.
The team walked away with the Best Tekong, Best Killer, Best Feeder, and Fan Favourite Player titles.
“Congratulations to all players and the management of Perak Bison for their outstanding achievement in bringing pride to the state on the national stage,” said the statement.
Earlier, the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, graciously attended the final match.
Also present were the Perak Chief Minister, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad; Chairman of the State Committee for Education, Higher Education, Youth & Sports, Khairudin Abu Hanipah; and Mayor of Ipoh, Zamakhshari Hanipah.
