A group of 18 members of the SinChon Association representing Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University and Sogang University under the team name YES Golf, travelled all the way from South Korea to Ipoh to play an impressive 54 holes at Meru Valley Golf and Country Club (MVGCC) over the weekend. This was their third visit to Malaysia.
Sharing how their experience here stood out, the group said they truly enjoyed the calm, spacious atmosphere which allowed them to play, practise, and experience golf amidst nature.
SinChon Golf Association has a membership of around 60 members every semester, and they provide opportunities for students to experience golf, including those with no prior exposure to the sport. MVGCC offered them the opportunity to play on a challenging and dynamic course that’s unlike the typical courses in Korea, with narrow fairways, natural undulations and roughs.
