IPOH: A street light at the Sultan Yusuff Roundabout here has collapsed following a recent accident.
It is hoped that the Ipoh City Council (MBI) will carry out repair works promptly.

According to a complainant, there are several other issues concerning street lighting in the area surrounding MGS School on Jalan C.M. Yusuff, where new poles have been installed but without any light bulbs.
“The Electrical Engineering Department of MBI is slow to act on street light damage. It usually takes years to reinstall new street lights.
“We hope all these issues can be resolved quickly for the benefit of the public, especially in terms of safety,” the complainant said.
