MANJUNG: A lively atmosphere filled the area around the Manjung Point Community Hall as hundreds of local residents took part in the Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day 2025 Fun Run.
The event was organized as a symbol of unity and patriotism among Malaysians.
Held over the past weekend, the event saw participation from people of all ages, who came together to enliven the casual run.
Their presence not only added to the cheerfulness of the day, but also reflected a strong sense of togetherness within the local community.
Minister of Higher Education, Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, attended as the guest of honor and flagged off the participants.
The organizers expressed their deepest appreciation to all participants, volunteers, agencies, and individuals who contributed directly or indirectly to the success of the program.
Events like this serve not only as platforms to strengthen relationships, but also to foster unity, reinforce the spirit of independence, and promote a healthy lifestyle within the community.
With such an encouraging response, it is hoped that similar programs will continue and expand in the future for the benefit of all.
