MANJUNG: The Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) has conducted a series of enforcement operations aimed at strengthening compliance with local regulations.
Three types of operations were carried out: capture and disposal of stray animals, removal of advertising banners, and seizure and confiscation of goods.
The stray animal control focused on reducing the population of stray dogs, which pose safety and hygiene risks to residents. MPM emphasized using more humane and controlled methods to balance public safety and animal welfare.
The removal of advertising banners was to ensure that advertisements placed in public areas comply with existing regulations and do not tarnish the town’s image.
Additionally, confiscation of business items targeted unauthorized commercial activities that violated licensing terms.
MPM remains committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable urban environment for the Manjung community.
