GOPENG: The MyFutureJobs X Perak State Community College Career Carnival 2025 made its return recently at Dewan FAMA, RTC Gopeng.
Held under the theme “Career Launchpad with Industries & Alumni”, the program brought together students, alumni, and industry players under one roof.

Kolej Komuniti Taiping through a statement said, the carnival, organized by the Perak State Community College Industry and Alumni Relations Committee in collaboration with SOCSO Perak, featured a series of impactful and meaningful activities.
“Among the key highlights were dialogues with alumni and industry representatives, a session with the CEO of POLYCC, a MyFutureJobs briefing by SOCSO, the ‘Hired in Style’ segment, as well as exhibitions and walk-in interviews with industry players,” said the statement.
A total of 149 students and members of the public were interviewed, with 39 successfully securing jobs, and 15 others selected for second-round interviews.

The carnival is more than just an annual event—it is part of the Perak State Community College’s strategic initiative to strengthen ties with industry and the local community.
“It aligns with the Malaysian Higher Education Plan 2025–2035 (PPTM 2025–2035), which emphasizes graduate employability and the empowerment of TVET.
“The aim is to produce a highly skilled, innovative workforce that meets current market needs,”.

The program is also seen as a platform to produce not only competent graduates but also individuals with strong strategic networks in the real-world job market.
The event was officiated by Dr. C Riam, Director of the Industry and Community Collaboration Division, Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (JPPKK).
Also in attendance were SOCSO Perak Deputy Director Khairul Mizan Md Said and POLYCC CEO Shariff Zulkepele Sharif Harun.
