IPOH: The atmosphere at the Amphitheater @ Laman Sejahtera, Taman D.R Seenivasagam recently came alive with patriotic spirit as the Ipoh City Council (MBI) hosted the Cintailah Malaysia (Love Malaysia) Program in conjunction with the 2025 Malaysia Day Celebration.

In a statement, MBI said the event, held from 5 PM to 7 PM, was part of a series of monthly programmes organized by the MBI Department of Community and Societal Services.
“This is part of MBI’s ongoing initiative to promote cultural vibrancy.
“In addition, it aims to strengthen national identity and instill a deep love for the country among the community,” said the statement.

The program was further enlivened by a special performance from the Gema Warisan Budaya group, which showcased a variety of patriotic, artistic, and cultural segments in line with the theme ‘Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni’ (Malaysia MADANI: A Society that Cares).
“It is hoped that this program provides an opportunity for Ipoh residents to truly appreciate the meaning of independence and Malaysia Day.
“At the same time, fostering unity and love for the homeland as the foundation for the development of both city and nation,” it added.

According to MBI, aside from being a cultural and artistic entertainment platform, the program also serves as a medium for uniting people of various races through the spirit of patriotism.
“It is hoped that the people of Ipoh will continue to support such initiatives to strengthen harmony, unity, and national identity in the city,”.
