IPOH: Road users in Ipoh city are appealing to the relevant authorities to repair the sunken stone-paved surface along Jalan Sultan Nazrin Shah, near the Sultan Yussuf Roundabout.
They say the uneven road condition poses a hazard, especially to motorcyclists.

Speaking to Ipoh Echo / Peraktastic, one road user pointed out that the road and roundabout are frequently busy with traffic during peak hours.
“It’s clear that the interlocking stones are uneven and sunken along Jalan Sultan Nazrin Shah heading toward Jalan Sultan Iskandar,” they said.
In a separate development, the same individual expressed appreciation to the Ipoh Echo / Peraktastic portal for consistently helping to resolve local issues raised by the community.
Among them, overgrown vegetation and shrubs along the monsoon drain behind the National Garden Apartment Flats have been cleared following earlier coverage of the issue.
Additionally, streetlights in front of MGS School on Jalan C.M. Yusuff — which previously only had poles — have now been fitted with two LED light bulbs.
“It’s believed that the LED bulbs were installed on Tuesday, 9 September.
“The stretch of road that used to be pitch dark is now well-lit. Thank you for continuously reporting community concerns — your efforts are truly appreciated,” they added.
