KUALA KANGSAR: The uniqueness of the Royal Town of Kuala Kangsar can be explored by locals and tourists alike through a special program called Hari Kuale Lenggang.

This program is a rebranding of the previous Kuale Car Free Day, now introduced with a fresher approach and focused on local cultural elements.

It is an initiative by the Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council (MPKK) in collaboration with Think City.

The highlight of this program will take place on Saturday, 20 September, at Jalan Kangsar, Kuala Kangsar, starting at 8 PM.

Hari Kuale Lenggang aims to involve all levels of society and serve as a platform for community gathering while celebrating national arts and heritage.

Various cultural performances will enliven the evening, including traditional performances by the Orang Asli showcasing the uniqueness of indigenous Malaysian traditions.

Also featured are a vibrant and symbolic lion dance and a Malay cultural dance performance by the group Kelan Wirama Pawana.

In addition, the event includes a 24 Drums performance that will energize the atmosphere with its captivating traditional rhythms, along with a special performance by the comedy group Senario.

The program is expected to strengthen efforts in preserving cultural arts while promoting Kuala Kangsar as a historic and cultural tourism destination.

To facilitate visitors, free transit bus services will be provided, picking up passengers from KTM Kuala Kangsar, Dataran Pavilion, and Sultan Azlan Shah University (USAS), and dropping them off at Hotel Double Lion (The Store Kuala Kangsar).
