Parents and families in Ipoh, mark your calendars!
Wesley Methodist School Ipoh (WMSI), a school with more than 100 years of legacy in education, is opening its doors for a special Open Day on Saturday, 27 September 2025, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Founded in 1924, WMSI has nurtured generations of students with a holistic approach to education, combining academic excellence with strong values and character building.
Today, the school continues this mission through its two campuses under one roof: WMSI International (Cambridge curriculum) and WMSI Private (KSSM curriculum).
What to Expect on Open Day
The morning begins with an entrance assessment for new students at 9.00 am (advance booking via WhatsApp is required).
Registration for walk-in guests opens at 9.30 am. From then on, the school will be buzzing with activities for the whole family, including:
- Guided campus tours every 30 minutes, led by student ambassadors
- Information sessions with principals from both the International and Private schools
- Malaysian-themed fun such as wau kite painting, hibiscus crafts, weaving, and traditional games like congkak, batu seremban, hopscotch, and galah panjang
- A dodgeball competition with prizes, plus interactive STEM and science challenges
- Girl’s Brigade showcase, food stalls, and even ice cream for a cheerful community atmosphere
