Sunken, Uneven Metal-Covered Road in Kampung Simee Poses Danger

IPOH: A road with a metal cover in front of the Simee Old Folks’ Home near Kampung Simee has sunken and become hazardous to motorcyclists.

According to a complainant, the road is uneven and has sunk due to a metal cover located in the middle of it.

A survey found that motorcyclists must swerve to avoid the sunken section while travelling along the busy road leading from the traffic lights at Lebuh 2 toward the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

There are concerns that the sunken and uneven road surface could cause accidents, especially involving motorcyclists.

It is hoped that the relevant authorities will inspect the condition of the road themselves and carry out immediate repairs.
