IPOH: Various issues were raised by State Executive Councillors (Excos), State Assembly Members (ADUNs), and department heads during the Perak State 2026 Budget Dialogue Session.

Among the topics discussed were economic development, education, health, tourism, housing, and agriculture, as well as the digitalisation agenda within state administration.
The input provided during the session aims to strengthen the state’s financial planning for the coming year.
Attendees were also given a detailed briefing on the overall economic outlook, potential growth sectors, current fiscal position, and the challenges that need to be addressed to ensure the continuity of development.
The dialogue reflects the inclusive approach of the state government in the budget planning process, ensuring that the voices of various stakeholders are heard and considered.
The input gathered will serve as the foundation for preparing a more comprehensive, realistic, and balanced Perak State Budget for 2026.
This is in line with the government’s goal of strengthening the state’s fiscal position, while enhancing economic resilience and the well-being of the people.
Earlier, the dialogue session was chaired by Perak Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad.
