Road markings on Jalan Chung Thye Phin have been repainted, some areas still need attention

By Aida Aziz

IPOH: The road markings on Jalan Chung Thye Phin, which were previously reported to be faded, have now been repainted by the relevant authorities.

According to the complainant, they greatly appreciate the prompt response to the complaint that was previously reported to Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.

However, they expressed hope that the repainting of the road markings would be done comprehensively throughout the area.

They added that there are several locations in the city that are important to have their road markings repainted for the safety of the public.

Examples include the area in front of Jalan Chamberlain Hulu, SK Raja Perempuan, SK Convent, and in front of Kinta Medical Centre — all of which are clearly busy and congested routes during peak hours.

“The purpose of my complaint to Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic was not to create problems but to ensure that this city moves in a better direction.

“Thank you to the authorities who have carried out repair works in several locations as reported,” they said.
