MANJUNG: The participation of 4,000 runners in Manjung Run 2025 has established the event as one of the most anticipated activities, while also boosting local tourism.
Manjung Run 2025 is a community event organized by Vale Malaysia Minerals Sdn. Bhd. (Vale Malaysia), celebrated together with the local community.
The objective is to create a safe, fun, and inclusive experience that brings together people from all walks of life.
Held in collaboration with JomRun, the scenic run reflects Vale Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
At the same time, it supports local tourism through inclusive and meaningful initiatives.
The race began as early as 1 a.m. with the flag-off for the 42.2km category, followed by the 21.1km, 10km, and 5km races.
More than just a sports and fitness platform, the program also served as a medium to promote Dataran Doodle Art as a new recreational and tourism destination in the Manjung district.
Earlier, the event was officiated by the President of the Manjung Municipal Council (MPM), Muhammad Faizal Shah Safian Suri.
Among those present were Pantai Remis State Assemblywoman, Wong May Ing, and Vale Malaysia CEO, Leonardo Paiva.
Various exciting activities were also held, including aerobics, a children’s colouring contest, government agency exhibitions, Rahmah sales, community clean-ups, and lucky draws.
The event successfully attracted strong participation and active involvement from Manjung residents of all ages.
