MANJUNG: A total of 450 food boxes, each valued between RM50 and RM70, were distributed to recipients from underprivileged communities.
This donation was held in conjunction with the Deepavali celebration, organized by the Residents’ Committee (JKP) Council Members of Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) from Zones 5, 8, 10, 12, 16, and 19.
The food boxes were handed over by the Council Members, who also serve as the JKP Chairpersons for their respective zones.
This annual program is an initiative by MPM and the JKP to show care for the community, especially the Indian community who will be celebrating Deepavali.
MPM extends its highest appreciation to all the Council Members and JKP involved for their commitment and volunteer spirit in making the program a success.
This initiative is in line with MPM’s aspiration to strengthen community well-being and foster unity in the diversity of the Manjung municipality.
