IPOH — The Galasa Ipoh Wedding Carnival is making a return this weekend, bringing together more than 25 wedding vendors under one roof from Friday to Sunday.
The event, to be held at the modern Galasa Ipoh event space, will showcase a wide range of wedding-related services for couples planning their special day.
Galasa’s Marketing Manager, Nursyafiqah Zamri, said the carnival aims to make wedding planning easier by offering everything couples need in one convenient location.
She said participating vendors include wedding planners, makeup artists, pelamin designers, bridal boutiques, caterers, gift suppliers, décor specialists, and professional photographers.
“What makes this carnival special is that it’s not limited to Malay weddings. It’s open to all types of celebrations — Chinese, Indian, modern, or international-themed weddings — making it more inclusive and comprehensive,” she said.
According to Nursyafiqah, last year’s edition achieved an impressive milestone, recording total vendor sales of about RM200,000 throughout the three-day event.
Visitors can also enjoy exclusive packages and budget-friendly full wedding deals, specially offered during the carnival and highly sought after by young couples.
The event is open to the public with free admission.
Nursyafiqah added that today’s wedding trends lean towards being more practical and well-organised.
“Couples today are looking for services that are not only beautiful and high-quality but also time-saving and convenient. This carnival meets those expectations,” she said.
