Hey Ipoh! The last time we shared a pickleball event, over 16,000 of you read about it! We love our readers and we see and hear you—that’s why we’re back with more.
The global and local trends of specialty coffee and pickleball are booming, and now, a fantastic community event is bringing these two loved activities together, organized by the Sem-break Pickleball Club and Blank Coffee Roaster!
- Date & Time: Friday, November 22, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Venue: MasterDink by MBC (Jalan Raja Dihilir)
You can expect over 100 players to attend, joining forces with the organizers and receiving expert guidance from the Sem-break Pickleball Club coaches, known best for organizing lively sports communities, and enjoying the excellent drinks from Blank Coffee Roaster, renowned for their good specialty drinks and roastery.
The Sign-Up Experience
Every sign-up guarantees a complete experience designed for fun and connection:
- A pickleball game. We encourage you to bring your own paddle if you have one, but don’t worry! Complimentary equipment is available, and you can also rent paddles directly at the venue.
- A cute event t-shirt. (The design is still being finalized. Follow @sembreakpickleballclub on Instagram to stay updated on the design reveal!)
- A good cup of coffee (or a non-coffee drink, if you prefer!).
This is the perfect setting for everyone, whether you’re a new or regular player, as you will receive guided coaching from the professionals on premium grounds.
The Mission: Where Friendship Continues
The story behind this event is simple: it started when two friends, Jason (from the Sem-break Club) and Jianwei (from Blank), shared a small idea over a cup of coffee. They didn’t look back, wanting to bring these two loved community trends together to fill in the blank between people with the potential for lifelong friendship.
The Sem-break Pickleball Club began as a group of student friends who would spend time on court, making meaningful memories. Today, it has grown into a community club welcoming players of all ages to come and play pickleball together.
As a continuation of the mission, all participants are automatically entered into a Rewarding Lucky Draw Session by Blank Coffee Roaster (head to @blankcoffeeroaster on instagram to find out more about them) held at the end of the morning.
The prizes are designed to help you cultivate your new friendships outside of the court, providing generous, long-term value that reinforces the event’s goal of ongoing connection.

There’s no time limit to respond, but seats are strictly limited. So do sign up if you can, and come meet new faces in a space of creativity, fun, and relaxation!
For parents: You can tag along toddlers aged six and below for the fun. However, children seven and above are encouraged to sign up so they can join the guided fun, learn, and meet new people—you’re going to love it!
