TAIPING: The dedicated staff who form the backbone of the Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) administration were celebrated in recognition of their contributions.
The MPT Heroes Appreciation Ceremony, held at the Pavilion of Zoo Taiping & Night Safari, aimed to acknowledge the commitment, dedication, and outstanding service of MPT personnel.
These employees play a vital role in strengthening MPT’s delivery of municipal services to the community.
Earlier, the event was officiated by Hasmonaliza Hassan Basari, the Municipal Secretary of MPT.
In her speech, she expressed her appreciation to all MPT staff, particularly the field workers, whom she described as the “unsung heroes.”
They are always on the front lines, ensuring that city services run smoothly.
“These field staff are the backbone of MPT’s operations. They not only perform their core duties but also respond directly in unexpected situations, such as managing the recent flood disaster.
“When every individual works sincerely and in the spirit of togetherness, organizational success will naturally follow,” she said.
She also presented tokens of appreciation to departments and units that demonstrated excellent performance.
