IPOH: Residents of Taman Klebang Baiduri have appealed to the Ipoh City Council (MBI) to address the problem of vacant land lots in their neighborhood, which are allegedly becoming breeding grounds for venomous animals.

According to residents, several plots of land—believed to be privately owned—have been left unattended and overgrown, leading to multiple incidents of dangerous animals entering their homes.
A resident representative told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic that many neighbors, including himself, had lodged online complaints with MBI, but no action has been taken so far.
“There are several vacant lots with known owners, but they do not maintain them. The grass has grown so tall that the area now looks like a dense jungle.

Snakes, bees, and even birds have built nests there. Recently, a venomous snake even entered one of the houses.
We have been suffering from this issue for three years. We heard that all the lots here have already been sold and have owners, so we hope MBI will take action against those who neglect their land and cause such disturbances.
It’s not just me — my neighbors have also submitted online complaints to MBI, but there has been no cleaning done. I’ve called MBI several times myself,” he said.
The resident also shared photos of the overgrown lots, urging that the matter be resolved immediately, as they have been enduring the problem for three years.
