IPOH: A total of 17 new ambulances have been distributed to 17 Health Clinics across Perak.
This ambulance procurement initiative will enhance the clinics’ capabilities, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, enabling them to respond more quickly during emergencies.


It will also help close the treatment access gap and shorten travel time to referral hospitals.
Perak State Health Director, Datuk Dr. Feisul Idzwan Mustapha, said that the addition of these logistical assets represents a major boost in strengthening the emergency response system and improving pre-hospital services at the community level.


The list of Health Clinics receiving the new ambulances includes: Tanjong Malim Health Clinic, Gunung Besout Health Clinic, Gunung Rapat Health Clinic, Batu 17 Health Clinic, Kota Bharu Health Clinic, Menglembu Health Clinic, Lawin Health Clinic, Lenggong Health Clinic, Kuala Gula Health Clinic, Teluk Medan Health Clinic, Tanjung Piandang Health Clinic, Trong Health Clinic, Buntong Health Clinic, Hutan Melintang Health Clinic, Sungai Siput Health Clinic, Ayer Tawar Health Clinic and Parit Health Clinic.
He added that to ensure operational readiness and optimal use of the assets, comprehensive training sessions were conducted involving all teams from the recipient clinics.
