TELUK INTAN: Flooding has disrupted several major routes in the Hilir Perak district, with some roads forced to close for public safety.
Among the affected routes is the Teluk Intan–Bidor Road (FT 58), which recorded at least three locations that are impassable to vehicles.

Sections 19 to 20 of this route—from Batu 7 Gandar Bridge to Batu 8 Langkap Junction—are closed to all types of vehicles.
Road users are advised to use the alternative routes announced by the authorities.
However, some sections of the route remain accessible, such as Sections 18 to 17 and Sections 15.5 to 15.6.
For the Changkat Jong–Kampar Road (FT 70), conditions at Sections 0 to 1 are reported to be safe, with both lanes accessible to all vehicles.

In addition, several state roads have also been affected by the flood, though conditions on those roads remain under control.
In a statement, the Hilir Perak Public Works Department (JKR) advised the public to exercise caution when using affected roads and to follow instructions from on-ground personnel.
Road users are also reminded to use the alternative routes provided to avoid congestion and any unwanted incidents.
Earlier, Perak Public Works Department (JKR) Director, Ir. Zamri Mat Kasim, inspected the flood situation affecting several areas in the Hilir Perak district.
