Mark your calendars if you have been looking for a gentle way to slow down before the year ends. Brahma Kumaris Foundation is bringing Meditation for Global Peace and Harmony to our community on Sunday, 21 December 2025. The event is free and held in conjunction with United Nations World Meditation Day, and everyone is welcome.
This evening is designed to be simple and soothing. Expect light movements, beginner friendly meditation and a little emotional uplift to close the year on a gentler note. Several familiar wellness studios will be part of the experience, including Zen Living Yoga, Jade Yoga, ALY Studio and Yogasanaz Yoga Studio and Wellbeing Centre.
Facilitators from the Brahma Kumaris Foundation will guide Raja Yoga meditation that is easy to follow and suitable for seniors, beginners and anyone who has always been curious about meditation but never knew where to start.

Here is what you can look forward to
- Calm movements to ease the body
- Breathing practices to settle the mind
- Short emotional wellbeing activities
- A candlelight meditation together to end the evening with peace and warmth
You do not need experience. You do not need a yoga mat unless you want to bring one. You simply show up and enjoy the moment.

Although the event is free, registration is required as seats are limited. All registered participants will receive a goodie bag with light refreshments after the session.
This is a lovely opportunity for the Ipoh community to gather, breathe and share a little quiet harmony before stepping into the new year. Seniors, families, caregivers, first timers and anyone seeking a bit of peace are encouraged to join.
