Firefighters Rescued Patient After Two Rings Got Stuck On His Finger

IPOH: A male patient at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) here had to endure pain for half an hour after two rings he was wearing became stuck on his middle finger on Thursday.

According to a spokesperson for the Perak State Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, the patient is 51 years old.

He said they received a call from HRPB informing them that a patient required special assistance to cut off rings from his finger.

“The operations chief conducted a size-up and then instructed personnel to cut the rings using special equipment until the rings on the middle finger of the right hand were successfully removed,” he said.
