A major celebration of talent and innovation is set to launch with the Perak Beauty Skill Award 2026. Scheduled for 17 to 18 January, from 11 am to 8 pm, at AEON Station 18 Ipoh, the event aims to recognise, inspire, and uplift the next generation of beauty professionals, cementing Perak’s position as a dynamic centre for beauty education and entrepreneurship.
Organised by The Malaysian National Trade Association of Beauty (MNTA Perak) and co-hosted by Beauty Secret by Tracy, the two-day showcase will unite creativity and passion across multiple categories with competitions for Beauty Therapy, Nail Art, Makeup, Embroidery, Hairdressing and Lash Art.
“For us in Perak, this event is more than just a competition. Its mission is to elevate the professional standards of the beauty industry in Perak, provide a platform for practitioners to be seen and recognised, encourage the younger generation to join the beauty field and foster innovation, as well as to position Perak as a promising and competitive region for the beauty industry,” stated Tracy Chan, president of MNTA Perak.
Event highlights will include live skill showcases of the competitors, to allow the audience to witness their artistry in real time, industry talks with demos and more, including a charity haircutting session, providing complimentary beauty sessions for underprivileged women and cancer survivors.
RM16,371.00 value in prizes is up for grabs by the participants, thanks to sponsors like Sasa, Entity, Mosino.M for Cuccio, Cosini, and Aeon Station 18 itself.
