Junior Chamber International (JCI) Ipoh, in collaboration with KJ Group from Kuala Lumpur, organised an eventful day for the elderly residents of Lucky Village Home, Ipoh, yesterday.
An engaging suite of activities and gifts were presented to the residents, to celebrate during this festive season.
Activities carried out included a lucky draw featuring thoughtfully prepared prizes such as homemade blankets, pillow cases, and various handcrafted items, which brought smiles and excitement to the residents.


Healthcare and wellness services formed a key part of the programme. Goodwill Dental Clinic Ipoh, led by Dr. Thong Ming Hang, provided free dental check-ups, ensuring residents received professional oral health assessments. In addition, free massage therapy was generously offered by JCI Ipoh 2024 President Jasmine Liew, allowing residents to enjoy moments of relaxation and relief.

Beauty and grooming services were also provided as part of the charitable efforts. Charity nail services were conducted by SL Nail Spa & Beauty and CC Nail House, while charity haircut services were offered by 131 M Hair Studio, On Air Hair Studio, and Thyme Hairstylist, helping residents feel refreshed and well cared for.
To celebrate residents born in December, birthday cakes were kindly sponsored by Big Horn Bakery, Bandar Seri Botani, and Bread Love Cake & Café, Bandar Seri Botani, adding a festive and memorable touch to the event.

The event was made possible with the strong support of KJ Group, led by 1986 JCI Ipoh Past President Senator Janice Wang, whose continuous commitment to community service played a vital role in the success of the programme. The charity initiative was organised by JCI Ipoh 2026 Vice President Community Elected, Dr. Thong Ming Hang, with the objective of enhancing the well-being of the elderly residents through meaningful engagement and essential services. The event was further supported by generous in-kind sponsors, including AP Hair & Beauty Supplier Sdn Bhd, Footlogix, and Good Therapy Center (Chiropractor), whose contributions helped enhance the overall impact of the initiative.
JCI Ipoh and all their sponsors, reaffirmed their commitment to community service and hope to continue creating positive and lasting impacts within Ipoh and beyond.
