Last night, a Christmas celebration was held at the Rainbow Children’s Home (Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Pelangi), bringing cheer to not just the children, but even the teachers and caretakers there.
These 30 children, teachers and caretakers enjoyed a buffet dinner, with a Cornetto ice cream treat for everybody. They also each enjoyed a present.
The children sang carols and danced, and even Santa Claus made an appearance.
Special thanks was expressed to Dr. Dr Sangeta Narendran for fully sponsoring the party, including the presents. As well as Past District Governor (PDG) Dr. Alan Thoo from the Lions Club and Lion Nicholas Seow, for arranging the sponsors for goodie bags filled with stationery, chips, a pouch and a watch each. Not just to this home, but across all the states.
The organising chairperson for this event is Catherine Samy for Lions Club Ipoh Evergreen.
