TAIPING: The needs of a hospital go beyond infrastructure and basic facilities, they also include equipment required for daily duties.
This includes laptops and related devices, which serve as essential ‘tools’ in ensuring the smooth running of everyday tasks.
In an initiative to help ease the workload of healthcare personnel, a donation of two laptops was presented to the hospital’s management.

The Special Officer to the Second Deputy Prime Minister, Neow Choo Seong, said his office was pleased to contribute two laptops to the Director of Taiping Hospital, Dr. Khuzaini Abd Karim.
He said the donation could be utilized by hospital staff for both office-based and field duties.
“Previously, I was informed that Taiping Hospital is actively implementing efforts to digitize its medical service system through the Medical Program Information System (MPIS).
“This initiative is very important in enhancing the efficiency of hospital management, particularly in patient registration processes and access to health records in a more systematic and secure manner.
“Therefore, I hope this small contribution can help accelerate the implementation of the digital system, and in turn benefit hospital staff and the Taiping community as a whole,” he said.
The contribution also serves as a New Year’s gift to the staff of Taiping Hospital.
