Kinder Labz Shines at Palo 101 Christmas Bazaar Following Successful Mamma Mia! Performance
IPOH, PERAK – 31 December 2025 – Kinder Labz, a leading early childhood education centre, celebrated a momentous evening on Tuesday, 30th December, captivating hundreds of attendees at the Palo 101 Christmas Bazaar with a dynamic performance by its students.
Following the overwhelming success of their internal musical production on 1st November at Tandoor Grill, Kinder Labz was formally invited to perform at the prestigious Palo 101 event. The opportunity was immediately accepted, reflecting the centre’s core belief in prioritising real-world performance experience for its young students as they grow.
The event, which saw an incredible turnout of 37 students and hundreds of supportive family members, friends and colleagues, was hailed as a resounding success, offering valuable exposure and confidence building for the children.
The highlight of the evening was the stunning inclusion of Ms Evelyn Chen, Director of Schools at Kinder Labz, in the performance. The musical was a charming and energetic take on Mamma Mia!, following six childhood friends through their lives.
In Scene 4, Ms Chen delivered a deeply emotional performance of the heart-wrenching song, “Slipping Through My Fingers,” alongside the young performers.
The Director’s active participation deeply resonated with the audience. One parent commented, “The moment Ms Evelyn started dancing and singing with the children, you could feel the genuine connection. It was so moving. It is clear she is not just the Director, she is their biggest champion, pouring her heart into their success.”
Having the Director herself jump in and share the experience sent a clear message: at Kinder Labz, leaders don’t just give instructions from the sidelines; they are hands-on participants who are deeply invested in their students’ journey.
The young performers were incredible, singing their hearts out, nailing the choreography and filling the hall with infectious energy and joy.
The main cast, comprising four K2 students (aged 6) and two K1 students (aged 5), included:

- Jasper Phang Yik Kui as Fernando
- Noelle Liew Zhiying (aged 5) as Neena
- Emran Ezaqiel as Muthu
- Faith Lee Qing as Izzy
- Muhamad Yusuf Irfan as Khairul
The event successfully underscored the importance of performance arts in early childhood development. For those 37 young performers, this wasn’t just another school concert. It was a night where they discovered their voices matter and when you have people who believe in you enough to stand right beside you, anything feels possible.
