IPOH: Four senior police officers have been appointed to key positions to further strengthen the organisation of the Perak Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK Perak).
The appointments involve the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Head of the Special Branch, Deputy Head of the Special Branch (Intelligence/Operations), and Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (Intelligence/Operations).
Leading the appointments is Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Razlam Ab Hamid, who has been appointed as the new Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Perak Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
Meanwhile, SAC Ahmad Asmadi Abd Hashim has been appointed as the Head of the Perak PDRM Special Branch.
For the position of Deputy Head of the Special Branch (Intelligence/Operations), Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mohd Faizul Mohd Majid has been appointed, while Superintendent Sabri Yenteng has been appointed as Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (Intelligence/Operations).
The handover ceremony was witnessed by the Perak Police Chief, Dato’ Noor Hisam Nordin, and was held at the Auditorium of the Air Operations Force Training Base in Ipoh.
In his speech, Noor Hisam congratulated all officers on their appointments.
He also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the former post holders for their excellent service throughout their tenure at IPK Perak.
