IPOH: The Gopeng Parliamentary and State Assembly Service Centre will be organising the ‘Temu Rakyat Programme’: Gopeng Parliament 1.0 to engage with the public and strengthen ties between leaders and the local community.
The programme will take place this Saturday at the Public Field, Taman Lapangan Jaya, from 7.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
The Temu Rakyat session provides an opportunity for residents within the Sungai Rapat State Assembly area and the Gopeng Parliamentary constituency to attend and interact directly with their elected representatives as well as government agencies.
It also serves as a platform for the public to voice complaints or submit suggestions related to local issues.
Beyond bringing the government closer to the people, the programme aims to ensure that every voice is heard and that the needs of the local community are better addressed.
Several engaging activities and programme highlights have been arranged, including public complaints counters, government agency exhibitions, and activities for youth and women.
As such, the local community is encouraged not to miss this opportunity to attend the programme, meet their leaders, and engage directly with them.
