IPOH – Jelapang Police Station and Menglembu Police Station have welcomed new officers-in-charge following a handover ceremony held recently.
The post of Officer-in-Charge of Jelapang Police Station was handed over from Insp Devendran a/l Balakrishnan to Insp Ambalagan a/l Arumugam.
Meanwhile, the Officer-in-Charge position at Menglembu Police Station was transferred from Insp Anandha Krishnan a/l Balakrishnan to Insp Chan Zhi Bin.
The handover ceremony took place at the Main Meeting Room of the Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD) here.
It was officiated by Ipoh Deputy District Police Chief (Operations) Supt Mohamad Sajidan Abdul Sukor and was attended by division heads as well as station chiefs from the Ipoh district.
In his address, Mohamad Sajidan delivered words of guidance and encouragement to both newly appointed station chiefs.
The appointments and transfers are expected to further strengthen the quality of policing services, in addition to enhancing safety and community well-being within the administrative areas of the Jelapang and Menglembu police stations.
