Road quality is a priority; the mayor monitors thickness testing on-site

IPOH: High-quality roads remain a key priority for the authorities, particularly in the city, to ensure the satisfaction of road users who frequently travel through the area.

In this regard, a road thickness testing session conducted recently at Jalan Wah Keong was personally attended by Ipoh Mayor Datuk Zamakhshari Hanipah.

The site visit was also aimed at ensuring that work quality and technical specifications complied with the established standards.

Also present were Canning state assemblyman Jenny Choy, councillor Lam Yew Tact, Public Works director A’zman Mohd Harun, and Ipoh City Council (MBI) deputy Public Works director Ir. Ts. Arif Mohd Zainudin.

Meanwhile, MBI reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that road maintenance and infrastructure improvement works are carried out transparently, with quality assurance, and for the benefit of public safety and well-being.
