Ipoh — The Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD) has launched the Safe Home Campaign 2026 to encourage the public to enhance the security of their homes during the festive and holiday season.

The campaign emphasises early preventive measures to avoid criminal incidents when homeowners are away.
Members of the public planning to return to their hometowns or go on holiday are advised to fill in a notification form at the nearest police station.
Additionally, registration can be made online via the Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP) application by the Royal Malaysian Police.
The public may scan the QR code on campaign posters to easily download the VSP application.
This initiative enables the police to monitor residential areas left vacant during the occupants’ absence.
For any enquiries or emergencies, the public may contact the IPD Ipoh Hotline at 05-2542222 or 05-2451500.
The campaign aims to raise public awareness that shared responsibility can help ensure home security and safe travel.
