BERUAS: The 2026 Chinese New Year Open House for the Beruas parliamentary constituency was held in a lively celebration at the Kampung Koh Heritage Community Centre here.
The event was officiated by Beruas Member of Parliament, Ngeh Koo Ham, who also spent time mingling with members of the public from various races.


Hundreds of visitors enjoyed a variety of traditional Chinese New Year delicacies and cultural performances, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The programme, organisers said, serves as an important symbol in celebrating harmony among the multi-racial community in Beruas, while also strengthening collaboration between elected representatives, government agencies, and the local community.


Also present were Manjung District Officer, Toh Seri Bijaya, Lt. Col. (B) Dato’ Shaharudin Haji Nazari, as well as Pantai Remis State Assemblyman Wong May Ing and Astaka State Assemblyman Jason Ng Thien Yeong.
The presence of leaders from various levels reflects the spirit of unity and a shared commitment to ensure the welfare of the people remains a top priority.
