IPOH: The sight of pink-coloured ambulances travelling along roads in the city, transporting patients to hospitals, has become a familiar scene.
These ambulances are operated by MK Ambulance Service, a healthcare service provider based in Ipoh.
To further enhance its operations, the company will acquire two new ambulances this year to strengthen its services.

The purchase of the two ambulances, complete with medical equipment, involves an investment of approximately RM350,000.
According to My Healthcare Services founder and director Mazhar Khadir, the acquisition of the new assets will enable the company to offer more efficient, safe and responsive services.
He said the addition of the two vehicles will bring the total number of ambulances to 16, in line with increasing demand for its rental services.
“With the new ambulances, the company will be able to expand its service coverage, including patient transfers from hospitals around Ipoh to destinations outside the state.
“We also provide patient transfer services to neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Singapore, complete with comprehensive equipment and close medical monitoring,” he said.

He explained that each ambulance is equipped with basic and advanced life support equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the journey.
He added that the expansion of the fleet is in line with the company’s vision to become one of the most trusted and competitive private ambulance service providers.
