Applications for Bantuan Mahasiswa Anak Perak 2026 are now open

IPOH: The Perak state government continues its commitment to strengthening the welfare of Perak-born students through the Self-Sustenance Aid, Student Emergency Aid and Book Voucher Assistance for 2026.

A total of RM4 million has been allocated for the Self-Sustenance Aid and Student Emergency Aid.

The initiative aims to help Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students continue their studies without the burden of rising living costs.

The Self-Sustenance Aid rates are RM500 for Diploma students, RM700 for Bachelor’s Degree students, RM800 for Master’s students and RM1,000 for PhD students, subject to eligibility requirements.

The Student Emergency Aid is provided for students facing unforeseen circumstances such as accidents, health issues or other misfortunes.

This assistance is granted based on the merits of each case, with a maximum amount of up to RM5,000, subject to the approval of the Assessment Committee.

To support academic needs, a total of RM750,000 has been allocated for the Book Voucher Assistance, valued at RM150 per recipient, benefiting 5,000 students.

Applications for the Self-Sustenance Aid and Book Voucher Assistance are open from March 2, 2026, to April 30, 2026, while applications for the Student Emergency Aid are open from March 2, 2026, to October 31, 2026.

Applications can be submitted online via www.eheyns.com.my.
