IPOH: An iftar event organised by Yayasan Perak turned into a meaningful occasion as it also celebrated children under the foundation’s Hijrah Insaniah programme, who are fostered by the organisation.

The programme involves 30 students who are currently in Form Three, having joined the initiative since Form One.

The students come from several schools around Ipoh, namely SMK Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Sekolah Raja Perempuan Taayah, Sekolah Izzuddin Shah and SMK Raja Perempuan.

Also present was Yayasan Perak general manager Dr Nasreen Khanum Nawab Zadah Khan.

The event was attended by Yayasan Perak committee members as well as representatives from Perak Transit, which acts as a strategic partner in implementing the programme.

The presence of principals and accompanying teachers from the respective schools was also appreciated, as they play an important role in supporting the students’ development.

The Hijrah Insaniah programme not only provides academic support to selected students but also serves as a platform for continuous collaboration between Yayasan Perak and the schools.

This is to guide and monitor the students’ academic progress as well as character development.

Through this approach, the students will continue to receive guidance until they complete their schooling before advancing to higher education.

The initiative reflects Yayasan Perak’s commitment to ensuring that every student receives consistent support.

It is in line to produce a competitive younger generation through close cooperation among various parties.
