IPOH: In the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan, Kinta Properties joined hands with the Masjid Imam As Syafie in Bandar Meru Raya here to prepare and distribute bubur lambuk to the local community.
More than 500 containers of the traditional porridge were cooked collaboratively by the mosque committee and Kinta Properties staff before being distributed at the mosque, as well as to residents of Taman Meru Mentari and Taman Meru Perdana.
Edwin Tan Beow Aik, director of Kinta Properties which had developed Taman Meru Mentari, also presented cash assistance to several underprivileged members of the mosque community.
“Although the contribution may be modest, we hope it brings added joy and comfort to their Aidilfitri celebrations,” he said.
The initiative reflects Kinta Properties’ ongoing commitment to supporting community welfare and fostering meaningful connections with residents, especially during the month of Ramadan.
