IPOH, March 10 — The festive spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri will be further enlivened with the Fiesta Raya Ipoh 2026 Riverfront @ Old Town, set to take place over six days at Kinta Riverwalk.

The event will be held from March 13 to 18, from 4 pm until 12.30 am, at the Kinta Riverwalk area behind Hadramout Restaurant in Ipoh.

It is expected to be among the most vibrant Aidilfitri celebrations in the city this year.

The fiesta will provide members of the public with the opportunity to shop for a variety of festive items and Hari Raya delicacies in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Ipoh.

A range of activities has been lined up throughout the programme.

Among them are the sale of Raya-related goods and festive food, as well as cultural performances by students from Sekolah Seni Malaysia Perak.

Visitors will also have the chance to watch flying roti canai performances, silat demonstrations and handicraft displays highlighting local arts and culture.

In addition, spiritual programmes such as Ride & Reflect with Al-Fadhil Ustaz Hanafiah will be held, alongside casual musical performances by Nafas Band and Nameless Project, which are expected to add to the festive atmosphere.

Other highlights include the distribution of bubur lambuk, the Rahmah sales initiative and a traditional panjut (oil lamp) display, a symbol closely associated with Malay traditions ahead of Hari Raya.

Members of the public, especially those in Ipoh and nearby areas, are invited to attend with their families and friends to further enliven the celebration.
