Quill Orthopaedic Hospital Ipoh shares Ramadan spirit with Baitul Aini residents

By Zaki Salleh

IPOH: In the spirit of Ramadan, Quill Orthopaedic Hospital Ipoh organised a breaking of fast event with children from Pertubuhan Baitul Aini.

Joy was clearly reflected on the children’s faces, while reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to supporting the local community in Ipoh — beyond just healthcare services.

The initiative forms part of the hospital’s community outreach programme aimed at empowering and assisting the underprivileged in Perak.

According to Quill Orthopaedic Hospital Ipoh medical director Dr Loh Choong Sing, Ramadan is the best time to be grateful and to help one another.

“The opportunity to break fast with the children at Baitul Aini and contribute to their well-being is a great honour for us.

“We hope this small contribution will bring them joy in preparation for Hari Raya,” he said.

To enliven the occasion and celebrate Aidilfitri, hospital representatives distributed duit raya of RM20 to each child.

A brief introduction about Quill Orthopaedic Hospital Ipoh was also delivered to provide children and their guardians with a better understanding of the hospital’s role as a caring community partner.

The hospital management also presented essential goods to Pertubuhan Baitul Aini to help ease the organisation’s operational needs ahead of the festive season.
