Rows of bright red food bags lined the grounds of PPR Taman Harmoni Buntong on March 15th as volunteers prepared to distribute aid to residents ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
By mid-morning, families had begun arriving to collect the supplies. In total, 300 B40 families from the surrounding Buntong area received dry food assistance, helping households prepare for the festive season.

The programme was supported by PPB Group Berhad and Massimo and organised by Perak Women for Women Society (PWW) together with the Kawasan Rukun Tetangga Rumah Pangsa Taman Harmoni Buntong and the Persatuan Penduduk Taman Harmoni Buntong.
Volunteers moved between stacks of food bags, guiding residents through the collection process and making sure the distribution ran smoothly.

The aid packages were given to families from different races and backgrounds within the Buntong community.
According to Muhammad Faiz Abdullah, Chairman of KRT Rumah Pangsa Taman Harmoni Buntong, unity in the neighbourhood is built through actions that bring people together.
“Within our community, we believe that unity must be demonstrated through action. When people come together to help one another and share what they have, that is where genuine harmony is formed,” he said.
Community leaders thanked the sponsors, volunteers and organisers whose support helped make the programme possible.
