IPOH: A MyKiosk Madani unit located along Jalan Jumbo Jet, Kampung Rapat Jaya, Gunung Rapat here was destroyed in a fire today.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division assistant director, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, said the department received a distress call regarding the incident at 11.35am.
Following that, a team of eight firefighters from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene.
“There was a fire involving a MyKiosk Madani unit which was 70 per cent destroyed.
“Upon the arrival of our personnel, thick smoke was seen coming from the kiosk and open flames were still visible. However, no injuries were reported,” he said on Thursday.
Firefighting operations concluded completely at 12.17pm.
