MANJUNG: The Manjung Municipal Council (MPM), in collaboration with the Beruas Parliamentary Office and the Astaka State Assemblyman’s Office, has launched the Madani Public Park Design Competition in Sitiawan, running from March 18 to May 15, 2026.
The competition is open to individuals and groups interested in presenting creative ideas for the development of a public park.
With the theme “Living With Nature”, participants are encouraged to submit designs based on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), an approach that emphasises the balance between development, ecological preservation and the well-being of the local community.
Attractive prizes await the winners, with RM10,000 for the champion, RM5,000 for the runner-up and RM3,000 for third place.
Additionally, three consolation prizes worth RM1,000 each will be awarded to selected participants.
Judging will take place on May 20, with winners to be announced on May 25, 2026.
