The Gopeng Tamil Youth Bell Club held their 57th Annual General Meeting on 31 March at the clubhouse grounds. While the club currently holds ownership of its land at Lawan Kuda Baru, the site remains occupied by a vacant building lacking essential infrastructure. So they’ve announced an ambitious plan to construct a two-story clubhouse that will include administrative rooms, counselling room, digital library, a youth hub and other amenities.
The project, which is estimated to cost RM500,000.00, is in the process of organising a fundraising activity in collaboration with the Gopeng Tamil Bell Club, which will be held on 9 May, from 7 pm at the Kampung Baru Lawan Kuda multipurpose hall. The event will feature various prizes.
Local residents and corporate donors are encouraged to participate in this initiative to help realise a project that promises to benefit the next generation of youth in Gopeng.
