IPOH: Around 40,000 residents in Manjoi are set to benefit from improved healthcare services when the construction of the Manjoi Health Clinic is completed in May.

The new clinic will provide relief to the communities within Gugusan Manjoi by offering more modern and conducive medical facilities.

It will also replace the old clinic, which has been operating since 1971 and can no longer accommodate current needs.

The upgraded facility is expected to enhance patient comfort and improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery.

At the same time, the modern amenities provided will offer a better working environment for healthcare staff, contributing to improved service quality.

Earlier, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar visited the construction site to inspect the progress of the development project.

He also visited the construction of the new Emergency and Trauma Department block at Kuala Kangsar Hospital, which is expected to be fully completed by February 2027.

The project is seen as a key step in strengthening the hospital’s capacity to provide more efficient emergency care and a more comfortable environment for patients.
