IPOH: A casual media engagement session was held with special officer to the Deputy Prime Minister II and MCA Youth publicity chief Neow Choo Seong.
The programme brought together about 18 media practitioners from across Perak, representing various agencies.


The session aimed to further strengthen existing ties between Neow and the media, which is seen as a key stakeholder group.
It also served as a platform to exchange views and share updates on current issues affecting the community.
In his speech, Neow expressed appreciation for the media’s commitment in delivering accurate information to the public.
He said the role of the media is crucial as a bridge between the government and society.
He also expressed hope that such strategic cooperation can be further strengthened over time.
The session was held in a friendly and open atmosphere.
Also present was Perak Media Practitioners Association (PPMP) chairman Sayed Mohd Hesham Syed Idris.
Programmes such as this are seen as instrumental in strengthening communication networks and empowering the media ecosystem at the state level.
