IPOH: A python that had hidden in the kitchen area of a mixed rice stall at Woolley Food Court was successfully captured by firefighters on Saturday morning.

According to a witness who was having breakfast there, he heard a brief commotion at the mixed rice stall at about 10.45 am before being informed that a snake had been spotted hiding there.
“I then saw two firefighters carrying snake-catching equipment into the kitchen.
“I asked what had happened, and one of the stall operators told me there was a snake in the kitchen of the mixed rice stall.
“With the help of the firefighters, the snake, which could be described as quite large, was eventually captured and taken out at about 10.53 am,” he told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.
