It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Tan Sri Dato Seri V. Jeyaratnam, who touched many lives with kindness and warmth.
Tan Sri leaves a legacy as an accomplished criminal lawyer, the distinction as the longest serving chairman of the Perak Turf Club, and his devotion to his role as chairman of Yayasan Sultan Idris Shah, a non-profit foundation for the less able.
He was a devoted father who cherished family above all. He is survived by his three children, Jeyarajah, Jeyamalar and Ratnamalar. As well as his two grandchildren, Shankar and Jeyanthi.
Wake prayers will be tomorrow night at 8.45pm. The location will be the Catholic Church of St Michael at 24 Jalan Gereja, 30300 Ipoh.
